If you’ve spent a decade on the internet – you must feel old.. a friend told me how he used to check IMDB in the early nineties and that was hard to grasp.. during the early nineties i had only got to see a computer once.. even after the assembled PCs became a reality in India, it took quite a while to get any sort of internet connections (dial ups) and broadband came in not until 2005-6..
but whats really sad about internet is that you still have to depend on pretty faulty and slow internet service providers.. wired broadband however has definitely come a long way – just that the happy scene runs only till the connection stops working.. recently someone driving an earth mover decided to play around during his free time.. uprooting all the cables that ran to my room mate’s wired set – just couldnt end up feeling more helpless..
the reason i write is that I fell for a few TV ads and bought a wireless connection..
i suppose you gotta spend all that money and look at a worse than dial-up-speed to be able to feel the happiness in my heart..
my friend recently upgraded to 3G services and was shocked that the flying ZooZoos werent trying to show the possible data speeds but were just entertaining you during the momentary breaks between the endless world of cricket…
Note: Both the embedded videos just wouldn’t play on my current connection.. so please don’t be surprised if they are innocent spoof and forgive yours truly..
