oh probably nobody… atleast its really hard to say that one single people group owns a Metropolis. By “owns” i mean “Sole right” or “Majority power to dictate..” Recently in mumbai a bunch of “Mumbaikars” beat up some “North Indians” saying they were “Stealing their jobs”.. a debate started… and as usual the News media started to run up to the issue… and there was a “Big Fight” on the TV…
“They are stealing the jobs…” “they should go back” … hehe… i laughed… who has got the right to dictate? who should go back and where?? almost EVERYBODY in mumbai is an immigrant… should everyone go??
its funny how we sometimes forget that a place is made prominent often because its culturally or commercially open… look at the biggest metropolises of the world .. they are full of No-Locals or immigrants…
Its also funny that Americans or Australians often try to behave the same way… and america would be seriously affected if you remove from it the Jews and Saudi’s and the Indians and Chinese…
My Physics instructor spent a great deal of time in US .. he even did a PhD in the study of Aurora Borealis… was a very interesting person… he said to me in 1999 – “There will never be a black President in America.” To tell you the truth, i am waiting to see America prove that statement wrong… but i am thoroughly excited by the suspense…
